Continuing Healthcare Assessor - Learning disabilities Location: Sutton Coldfield, B72 (Head Office) with nationwide travel Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 DOE Hours: 40 hours per week, part-time working considered for the right candidate Contract: Full Time, Permanent Are you a qualified and registered Learning Disability Nurse with experience in Continuing Healthcare delivery? About the Role: The Clinical Services division within CHS Healthcare comprises of a team of dedicated operational and clinical experts who deliver a highly successful NHS Continuing Healthcare service for CCG’s nationwide. Joining CHS Healthcare as a LD Continuing Healthcare Assessor, you will demonstrate an aptitude in your field and work to the highest standards, in line with the National Framework to deliver robust assessments and recommendations regarding eligibility for NHS Continuing Health Care. Your work will predominantly be independent across the Birmingham area with the support of industry experts located at our four Centre of Excellence Hubs in Stoke on Trent, Swindon, Wandsworth and our Head Office in Sutton Coldfield, all working in partnership to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively. This is a complex role involving high quality support including intricate information and analysis and extensive stakeholder liaison with the client, families and members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will have an outgoing and friendly personality, teamed with a desire to build supportive long-term relationships. Your extensive experience means you have the talent to "run your own show". About You: Registered Learning Disability Nurse Experience with learning disabilities in CHC Ability to travel to assessments Ability to work in a fast paced and multifaceted environment Strong IT, administration and analytical skills taking pride in presentation skills Establish and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders Talented in your ability to think quickly, creatively and to professionally challenge Develop knowledge of resources, knowing when to utilise them Flexible and adaptable approach to work Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to work both independently and part of the wider team Able to relate to all stakeholders in a professional manner Access to own vehicle with car insurance that covers you for business use.
