Overview

Are you experienced with Permitting for Highways/Road projects? A contractor working on large Highways Framework requires a Permitting officer to work in their offices in West London. You must have knowledge of submitting a permit application, recognising error and be confident with all of the relevant associated paperwork (TMAN, TTRO etc…) knowledge of the TOMS system is also vital to the role. This role is paying circa £13ph PAYE - 15 ph PAYE (you will accrue holiday on top of this rate) This is a temporary role for 6 months covering Maternity leave. Working hours are ideally 9am - 5pm (Flexibility is available) Permitting Officer Role and Responsibilities: Submitting permit applications Identifying what type of permit is required Respond to permit responses and deal with appropriately Be able to recognise and resolve any permitting errors Understand and implement all legislation relating to permits Coordinate Work starts and works stops / time requirements for types of permits / extension requests Submit a TMAN application and follow up on the responses Confident at writing a TTRO application Understand how TTRO's are written and what is required for a TTRO (Road Closures, banned parking etc…) Identify type of traffic management being used and match this with permit Use the TOMS system to upload applications Permitting Officer Candidate Requirements: Must have previous experience in the role and be able to demonstrate knowledge of Permits and the systems used Must be a confident user of the TOMS system Have relationships with TFL and London boroughs Be honest and open to admitting any mistakes made so that they can be fixed Sound like your DREAM JOB?
