Trainee Accountant - £16,000 - £18,000 Manchester Your new, award winning firm has three decades of helping their clients, eight offices across the UK, and a staff count of nearly two hundred across the group, and perhaps most importantly for you, they have been recognised as Investors in People. You will be joining one of the largest independent accountancy firms within their Manchester head office, based just off of Piccadilly Gardens. You will join the team, as a Trainee Accountant, where you will work closely with the Director and Senior Manager of this business unit to progress your knowledge and career. What you will do as the Trainee Accountant: Have a hand in the preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, all within the medical sector Bookkeeping for your clients Assist with personal tax and VAT returns and submissions to Companies House What you will need as the Trainee Accountant: Knowledge of accounting practice A real drive and passion to progress within an accountancy career Excellent communication with both internal colleagues, and external clients Ability to take on responsibility and be driven to work under your own initiative What will be preferable for the Semi Senior Accountant: AAT Part Qualified / Accounting Degree Excellent attention to detail Competent with IT and MS Office What you will be rewarded with as the Semi Senior Accountant: Salary £16,000 - £18,000 and an Annual Salary Review Bonus Scheme Pension Fully Funded Study Support Career Progression and Development Colleague Discount Scheme Friday Dress Down Regular Work Outings and Team Building Days Flexible Working Annual Leave Increases Each Year If you feel that you are the Trainee Accountant for this opportunity, click Apply to find out more.
