Overview
We are assisting a global $3 billion medical device group based in Birmingham to appoint an immediately available Assistant Management Accountant in the European team to take responsibility for the timely and accurate preparation of both month and year accounts whilst taking the initiative to transform and improve reporting and process workflows. Primarily working with commercial finance colleagues based in Manchester, Oxford, and Birmingham offices, you will assist the Head of Finance with reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, multi-currency calculations and margin analysis for incoming European Sales. A candidate with the desire to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA studies and immerse themselves within the commercial drivers of the company would be ideal. Ideally, you will: • Assist the UK and regional Head of Finance to prepare month end reporting • Take ownership of all month end calculations, balance sheet analysis and flash reporting • To review and identify any correlations and improvement to drive business performance • Provide flexible reporting to both the UK business and EU third party sales divisions • To control the incoming multi-currency revenue, cost and margin reconciliations • Have the aptitude to utilise various financial software systems for real estate and construction In return, you will: • Receive study support alongside a first class experience of an international finance team • Enhance the skills you already have within an experienced commercial finance team • Receive full training and guidance to become qualified This particular role is ideal for anyone wanting to study AAT Level 4 or beginning CIMA/ACCA with dreams of experience within a fast paced, highly commercial environment.
