Overview
Young Person Support Worker - Full time, Part time and Flexible shift patterns available. Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a new and exciting challenge? I am recruiting for staff to help support young adults leaving social care and going into semi-independent living accommodation. My client is a large provider across Cambridge whose aim is to help support and guide vulnerable young people to encourage and support them in a nurturing environment. They are semi-independent living services and promoting independence is a key part of the role. Requirements: You will maintain a nurturing, positive and safe living environment within the unit, in order to meet the needs of the Young People. You will be alert to the needs, safety and wellbeing of the Young People. You will have worked in a care setting with young adults previously (16yrs) Possess excellent people skills Have a passion for supporting young people with emotional behavioural difficulties Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority Have great communication skills Driver with own transport due to rural locations Ideally a Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
