Willmott Dixon is currently looking to recruit a Field Support Engineer provide IT support to our Wales and West Construction business. The main purpose of the role is to provide a robust and effective field support service to their Cardiff office and construction project sites across the region including South Wales, Mid and West Wales. Key Responsibilities: Effectively and efficiently provide local End User support to all business users for all IT based systems including all Desktop Hardware and Software, Video Conferencing Equipment with in meeting rooms, Mobile Communications Solutions and New Site Setups. Take ownership of all IT issues and solutions for the local business and work with the central IT team to resolve and implement effective fixes and solutions for the business that are cost effective and fit for purpose. To work with the End User Services Manager in accordance with IT objectives, values and standards. Ensure that all legal and legislative requirements in relation to IT are adhered to and followed. Ensure the status of their Regional hardware asset registers are accurate. To operate as the conduit of information and feedback between their region and the Service Delivery team. To ensure that all tickets allocated are managed per the Incident Management process. Information updated in the ticket work log to be accurate, up to date and informative. Weekly movement plan to be managed, planned and communicated to the support managers. To have direct involvement with key tasks and issues as part of annual objectives. Will be required to cover other office sites as and when the business needs. Essential and Desirable Criteria Essential and Desirable Criteria Essential Criteria: Windows 10 certified. Office 365 experience Active Directory experience. Customer Service skills. Proactive Good communicator verbally and written Full driving license Must travel Able to travel independently to work.
