Overview

Boutique US law firm is looking to hire new HR support to work with the Director of Administration (DoA) on a permanent basis either two or three days-a-week with the days being flexible to the candidate. This role will encompass all facets of HR where you will be expected to take the lead on your responsibilities. Applicants should have worked at Officer, Advisor or Manager level within HR at a law firm and be looking for part-time work. Duties will include being asked to perform benefits administration including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees, assist with annual benefits open enrolment, including creation of plan design and rate structure, drafting communications, testing online enrolments, and planning open enrolment events, maintain compliance with statutory regulations concerning employment, assist the DoA with various human resources plans and procedures for all London personnel; assists in development, implementation, and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement; prepare and maintain online policies and procedures, assist to maintain HRIS records by collaborating with the various departments to create and run periodic and ad hoc reports from HRIS, modify reports in Excel, and provide human resources-related analysis, help design and conduct new employee/partner orientations, conduct exit interviews for staff, participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems and conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt, non-exempt, and temporary employees. Applicants should have at least 3 years HR experience, be degree educated and have considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration and be able to lead on recruitment pieces. This role has a full-time equivalent salary around the £65,000 mark and can be recruited on either a 2 or 3 day-a-week basis – days are completely flexible.
