Tradition is currently seeking to appoint an FP&A Analyst to be based within the London office. Main responsibilities within the FP&A Analyst position include: Reporting & Analysis Assisting the Head of FP&A in the design and production of regular accurate and insightful management information to various stakeholders including the Board and its Committees, the CEOs Committee, and business managers on a monthly and ad-hoc basis - based upon various views (e.g. London managed vs statutory) providing feedback on performance and other factors Responsible for the delivery of daily reporting of revenue across TLM Responsible for the ongoing review of new joiners and initiatives post implementation - including broker performance monitoring Responsible for proactively identifying and analysing trends, issues and other factors and highlighting them to Head of FP&A Be part of a team that drives forward Finances interaction with Support functions and associated reporting lines to ensure strong cost controls Acting as a trusted adviser to the Head of FP&A and the business Budgeting: Assisting with the delivery of the annual budgeting process to deliver a high-quality output with buy-in and ownership from all stakeholders, seeking each year to improve accuracy and process based on past experience Responsible for ongoing reporting and understanding of variances to budget Assisting with the periodic formal and informal financial reforecasting as required Financial Modelling: Produce financial models including, but not limited to new joiners and initiatives, ICAAP financial modelling, scenario analysis Ad-hoc modelling as requested by the CEO, CFO and other senior Front Office stakeholders Allocations and Bonuses: Assist in the design and implementation of cost allocations between desks and entities Systems Responsible for the provision of data in an appropriately systemised form in line with the responsibilities above Responsible for the administration and maintenance of related systems (e.g. Qlikview) Work closely with IT and the business to deliver continual improvements in reporting capability, seeking always to deliver information in the most robust and efficient way possible suitable to the needs of stakeholders General Working closely with the Finance team to offer assistance and guidance Assisting with general process improvements Point of contact for Senior Management and Desk/Department Managers Providing training and assistance to others in Finance and elsewhere to improve FP&A outcomes Involvement in remuneration calculations Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role: Qualified Accountant Experience of working within a similar role Financial services experience preferable Proficient systems knowledge Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially excel Self-driven, enthusiastic and a good team player Ability to work under pressure and embrace change Proven ability to solve complex issues and reconcile differences Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Attention to detail but aware of the big picture Good organisational skills and time keeping Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes Ability to take ownership of ad hoc tasks or small projects from start to completion and deliver conclusive results.
