Mechanical Fitter Duration: 4-6 months Location: Barnet, Hertfordshire Key Skills: Fitter, Mechanical Fitting, Special Purpose Machinery, Assembly, Components Excellent new contract available for a Mechanical Assembler / Fitter position has become available. Have you got extensive experience of precision mechanical assembly / fitting ideally working on special purpose machines The Mechanical Assembler / Fitter role is varied and you will be able work within a small team working on bespoke machinery which is utilised within a number of sectors. Please note, this role will fall WITHIN IR35 guidelines, so we CANNOT pay through Limited Companies Mechanical Assembler / Fitter Requirements: BTEC or HND qualification (or work-based alternative qualifications / experience) Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings Build and run basic tests on machinery as required Have good understanding of mechanical principles and precision mechanisms Proven experience of working as a Mechanical Fitter within a engineering manufacturing environment Mechanical Assembler / Fitter Responsibilities: Assist with the building of production machinery The Mechanical Fitter will be required to read and interpret engineering drawings and build special purpose machinery Electrical knowledge or experience is preferred but not essential Candidates will be required to build sub-assemblies and complete machine builds If you are interested in this Mechanical Assembler / Fitter role, click Apply Now and we will be in touch with you.
