Overview

My client is a well established & niche Vendor with award products & a loyal & growing nationwide customer base. With an exciting 2020 in store they are now looking for a C#/Sitecore Developer ( Mid-Level to Senior will be considered) to join their high calibre Dev Team. I am looking for applications from wiell rounded Software Developers who have skills across the SDLC (Analysis, Design, Build, Test, Implementation) and have fluent programming experience with C#, C# .Net. Additionally candidates who have CMS experience (e.g. 12m) - ideally with Sitecore CMS but candidates with Umbraco or Kentico CMS experience will also be considered. You will be working on large, complex ECommerce sites, which integrate with payment gateways (API exp. OAuth. etc), Warehouse/Supply Chain software etc. so candidates should be comfortable working on both new builds but also lots of detailed interface work when required. The role is in someways a classic full-stack role (server side SQL, SQL-Server etc through to Javascript, HTML5, React libraries etc on the front-end) but so long as you bring solid CMS experience with you any tech gaps you may have will be bridged through on the job training & classroom training as required by my client. In term of years of experience you should have at least 18months commercial exp. with a CMS. You will need fluent programming skills, with first class C# skills an essential requirement. This role is full-stack in essence, I need candidates to be comfortable with back-end/ server side (SQL, SQL Server etc.) development as well as having front-end qualities (Javascript, HTML). Additionally, ASP.Net skills will be well regarded as will experience developing in an Agile environment (Agile,Scrum, DSDM, RAD ). Experience working in CI/CD environments would be useful (SVN, GIT, TFS, Jenkins etc) as would an appreciation of the DevOps space on a broader level but this isn't essential for the right candidate. What is essential is that allied to your technical skills you have the breadth of experience & know-how that comes with being a Senior Developer, solid software design skills, a mature mindset, being solutions focused & able to keep things simple & having an open mind with regards to technology ( technologically agnostic/polyglot etc.) & be willing to pick up & use new tech as required. The development work you undertake will be varied & challenging, with lots of new development from scratch, building new E-Commerce sites (back and front-end), working with various business units (Finance, Product Teams, Digital Marketing etc.) so good stakeholder management & user liaison experience is important.
