Overview

We are currently recruiting for Mental Health Support Workers to join our agency and work in a well-known local Mental Health Hospital in Brighton The ideal staff will be hard working, reliable and confident whilst working with mental health patients. PMVA (Prevention Management of Violence and Aggression) is an essential requirement when working within any mental health environment. We place all our staff on free training in order to ensure you’re equipped to deal with those with Mental Health Issues. We expect all staff to have the below: Good communication skills Excellent team working skills A flexible and common-sense approach to problem solving Have a basic understanding and appreciation of mental health Experience within a secure setting desirable but not essential Flexibility to work across the services within our sites with a hands on and flexible approach. All staff applying must have the below: Passport/ID Residents Permit/ Right to work in the UK Proof of address Proof of NI Willing to attend PMVA training on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July DBS - if you do not currently have one, you must be willing to apply at the cost of £65 Location: Brighton DAY STAFF: 07:30-20:00 NIGHT STAFF: 19:30-08:00
