Credit Controller

Credit Controller – Interim – Competitive My Client, a growing retail/leisure brand are in need of a Credit Controller to join their team on an interim basis Full training will be provided and the progression opportunities within this firm are unlimited. The role would suit a candidate who is looking for a route into Finance to gain experience. To be successful you will need to be a confident communicator who has strong Excel ability and an understanding of how a Credit Control function works. The Credit Control team is an intrinsic part of the Finance function and you will be recognised and rewarded for hard work and positive results. Location: Romsey Hours Mon - Fri 9.00 - 17.00 Pay rate £9.50 -£11.50 dependent on experience Duties with full training includes: • Reducing overdue debt for an assigned section of a large high-value Sales Ledger • Obtaining accurate payment using effective collection techniques via telephone/email • Account reconciliations and monthly reporting • Query resolution and Credit note processing • Receivables cash allocation and banking • Customer account maintenance • Ad-hoc Billing and reporting tasks as required The Candidate: • An understanding of how Finance receivable & payable functions work • Credit Control experience is not essential - as full training will be given. • Must be well organised and flexible and capable of working to tight deadlines and KPI's • A good understanding of Excel spreadsheets and recording/reconciling large volumes of data • Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with speed and accuracy • Building strong relationships with internal and external contacts This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious entry level candidate or a Finance Graduate looking to kick-start their career - with full training from the outset and excellent development opportunities.
