Overview

XCL Group currently have a new and exciting role for a Plastic Fabricator with our client based in Sheffield. Our client are a leading provider of plastic fabrications for a number of industries around the UK. Due to their continued success, they are now looking to grow their team with an experienced Plastic Fabricator. The client is looking for a candidate who is willing to advance within this role. The main duties of the role will be: Be able to produce products to a specific specification that follow engineering drawings, basic sketches or written and verbal instructions Be able to work confidently on their own and as part of a team. Be capable of working in a fast paced environment, however still producing products to a high quality. Be able to meet company deadlines and solve problems should they arise. Be able to participate in manual labour Qualifications / Experience Required: Have a strong experience in Plastic Fabrication, hot gas welding and cutting materials to a specific instruction. Have Polypropylene/ PVC/ PETG/ HDPE/ PVDF experience Have a clear understanding on how to programme and operate a CNC Router (Beneficial) Have experience and knowledge of computer drawing packages, for example AutoCad (Beneficial). Be willing to do site work as overnight stays may be required. Metal fabrication experience would be beneficial. Have a valid FLT License would be desirable. Hours of Work: 45 hour work week, with a paid lunch break (30 minutes) and 2 paid (15 minute) breaks Mon - Thurs 7.30am - 5pm Friday 7.30am - 2.30pm Pay: Pay dependant on experience.
