Our Client is a fast growing and entrepreneurial business within the Mobile Telecoms Sector, with a large and expanding Customer base. We are excited to be recruiting for a PHP Developer , to join their fabulous team. Our Client are keen to hire someone that is passionate about technology, with knowledge of best practices, and the desire to share these with team members through ongoing collaboration. A solid understanding of the industry and latest technologies and development trends would be ideal. You will be involved in planning of projects, including task breakdowns, scope and development. They have a fairly even split between back end, mobile and front end projects (with a weighting towards the back end). This spans everything from customer portals and route optimisation systems to stock management tools and diagnostics. This, coupled with their commitment to staff training and development, makes for a highly varied environment - focusing on clean code, scaling and collaboration. Job Responsibilities Implementing architecture designs to new and existing systems. Improving current code base and scrutinising approaches. Managing current API integrations and improving their performance. Research solutions and help introduce new technology when appropriate. Supporting team members to achieve deadlines. Requirements 2-3 year's commercial experience E ssential Skills Object Oriented PHP (preferably 7.0) Laravel 5.8 MVC Framework Eloquent ORM & MySQL PHPUnit JavaScript & modern frameworks (preferably Vue.js) RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) Version Control (GIT) Desirable Skills Progressive Web Apps HTML5 / CSS3 / SASS / Bootstrap 4 NPM AWS Management (EC2, S3) Knowledge of payment gateways (Braintree, Klarna) If this is the perfect opportunity for you, please apply via Solve Recruitment.
