Overview
BSM Group are currently partnered with a global financial institution to assist with their hire of junior level Credit Analysts to look at portfolios of Corporate Finance and Structured Finance Transactions. The role is the fantastic opportunity to build on their current Credit Analysis skill set or even to move into a more analytical position from a part qualified accountancy background. The role is a great opportunity to develop an analytical skill set looking at a range of technical transactions. Responsibilities Assume responsibility for performing Credit Analysis on Structured and Corporate Finance transactions alongside a senior analyst Compile loss models and cash flow models related to transactions Interaction with issuers, investors and bankers Participation in, and ideally initiate, ad-hoc sector commentaries and topical research Ability to provide input to rating methodologies Attend meetings with client management Communication of ratings to senior management of clients Compilation and maintenance of a peer comparison database as well as some involvement with analysis of corporate ratings Requirements Strong quantitative background High level of ability with Excel with cash flow modelling a massive advantage Strong communication skills internally and externally Proven experience of working well in a team environment as well as individually Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously and work under pressure Ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines Ability to travel across EMEA on a regular basis as required Analytical skills evidenced by experience in an analytical or similar role Apply today to find out more and discuss your wider search
