Risk Analyst Job - Hampshire - Financial Services - Up to £35,000 - Analytical Data Review and Reporting Your new company This is a great opportunity to join a leading niche financial services provider in key Risk Analyst role. Your new role Will be to support the activities of the Risk Modelling & Reporting team to provide a risk a thorough assessment of the business through a risk based approach and to develop and implement a comprehensive suite of risk reports. Providing evaluation and management of the Company's risk tools, proactively identifying risk through the comprehensive monitoring of risk indicators and assisting with the design and implementation a set of controls to ensure the quality of historical data necessary for the monitoring of the Risk framework. Assist with the monitoring, and effective back testing, of the risk assessment tools and provisioning models to ensure these are compliant with Group standards. Contribute proactively to the enhancement of our processes for monitoring the Bad Debt Charge and to the improvement in the accuracy of our forecasting tools. Proactively identify risk through the comprehensive monitoring of risk indicators and controls in accordance with governance, policies and standards; Produce RISK packs/ reports in a timely manner, with relevant analysis of the portfolio risk. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally be a Risk, Compliance or Data Analyst coming from a busy Financial Services background. A deep understanding of Excel and competence in SQL server management studio or similar database management software. Competence in SAS Analytics Pro would be desirable, whilst Visual Basic for Microsoft Excel would be useful, but is not essential.
