Overview
I'm currently recruiting for a growing construction/manufacturing business in Edinburgh. Their growth now calls for an experienced FD to ensure the buiness has a robust financial reporting structure. The role will be for 3/4 days per month, possibly more to start and is flexible. Role Purpose To ensure that the company's financial commitments are met, and to ensure the profitable long-term growth of the business. Duties and Responsibilities ? Advise on long-term business and financial planning including capital structure, and tax planning ? Direct the company's financial policies ? Guide the company to maximise profitability ? Retain awareness of financial position, advising on action to prevent problems ? Drive financial strategy and planning, analysing performance and risks ? Manage compliance and legal requirements of our financial affairs ? Work with banks and external parties as required Must have a background with in the construction industry and experience of the accounting vageries within.
