Assistant Accountant Job - Temporary - Swansea Your new company My client, a prosperous manufacturing organisation is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic and fast paced Accounts department on an interim basis. You will be working for a reputable business that has experienced rapid growth and continues to develop their market share overseas as well as in the UK. Your new role Your key duties will include assisting the Financial and Management Accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciling banks on a daily basis ensuring all payments have been posted, preparing prepayments, accruals and managing fixed assets including depreciations. You will assist with cash flow forecasting and budgets along with ad hoc duties for the Management Accountant as and when needed. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful for this great opportunity you will need experience within a similar Assistant Accountant role. It is essential that you have strong attention to detail and the ability to work towards time-constraint deadlines. You will be expected to have strong Excel skills and have an understanding of various finance packages. It would be advantageous if you have worked within the manufacturing sector with knowledge of ERP finance packages and hold an accountancy qualification (AAT or equivalent).
