Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java JVM Cloud AWS Microservices CI/CD Agile). Are you a technologist Java Developer seeking complex and interesting systems to work on that provide daily challenges whilst collaborating with a friendly and upbeat team and improving your skills whilst enjoying a good work / life balance? You could be learning and developing your skills at a fast growing Challenger Bank that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, Cloud based technology. As a Java Developer you'll join one of the company's many feature teams depending on your areas of interest and expertise. You'll be responsible for maintaining and developing features and will work closely with other developers to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and assist with the architecture and design of new and current systems. You'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit; a well stocked kitchen / break out area and a highly motivated team atmosphere with flexible working opportunities. Requirements: Strong core Java development skills Experience with microservices Good knowledge of Cloud based technologies (AWS preferred) Logical mindset with strong problem solving skills Genuine passion for technology; keen to learn and continually innovate Collaborative with strong communication skills As a Java Developer / Software Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £70k) plus bonus and benefits.
