Overview

Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for several Audit Senior to join a progressive firm in London on a temporary basis, to aid them in their busy period. You will be responsible for the completion of audit assignments including staff supervision and liaising closely with the audit managers and staff. Person Specification: We are looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA or ICAS) who is a commercially minded, ambitious individual. You will have had full responsibility for all aspects of an assignment which includes the planning, fieldwork, completion and is able to deal with the more complex aspects of an audit. Requirements Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus. Has a sound working knowledge of audits in the SME market Ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with and their technical knowledge is up to date. Ensures client deadlines are met and to budget Experience of working on more complex aspects of audits Able to work closely with managers on a daily basis. Displays a neat and orderly work style Make a positive effort to achieve targets in difficult circumstances Considers the needs and skills of those under supervision, organising tasks and responsibilities Faces tasks with drive and determination Creates a motivational environment Constantly seeks to achieve a high output of quality work Uses initiative and takes action without being asked Confident in their abilities and seeks to achieve high quality work Able to multi-task, priortise and communicate at all levels Excellent working knowledge of word, excel and Caseware Able to manage their time effectively What can they offer you?
