Our Product Engineering team is reshaping; Product, Infrastructure and Engineering are combining to build the next generation of our award-winning OneHub Platform. One that will enable the creation of not just a single product, but a diverse range of products filling each part of every experience loop; anywhere in the world. What will you be doing? As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be working as part of our combined cross functional Product Engineering Tribe, ensuring the delivery and operation of our new product suite. You will be directly contributing towards our ability to provide a robust, global, multi-tenanted OneHub Platform supporting a continuously evolving set of capabilities with zero downtime. Your day to day activities will include: Design and develop test plans and test cases within the scope of a broader test strategy for a new product in the OneHub suite. Covering entire application stack, with an eye for performance, stress and load. Responsible for the execution of automated testing as part of continuous integration and agile deployment practices with input into platform architecture to facilitate testing and continuous delivery. Work alongside the Product Manager to create acceptance criteria for product features as well as understanding the systems' interfaces and their interactions. Work with the other engineers in the squad to ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking. Work closely with other QA Automation Engineers to ensure consistency by documenting procedures and processes for the technical success of the product suite. Communicate effectively with other employees both inside and outside the Product Engineering Tribe. Experience: At least 2 years’ experience of testing and working within an agile team. Analytical in approach and a strong team player. Strong understanding of the QA process, defining and implementing test strategies and approaches. Experience with programming concepts with the ability to write automated tests for web applications and REST APIs using Java or well-known other JVM languages. Competent in the use of automated test tools, such as Selenium, REST-assured plus script automation. Understanding of load, stress and performance testing. Experience of testing in a cloud infrastructure. Appreciate of manual testing and use of Postman as and where needed.
