Outline: Our brand new service in Solihull, Birmingham launched earlier this year and is already fast becoming a reputable and successful establishment - so much so, that we are now looking at increasing our pool of Relief workers to employ and train in preparation for new provisions. As a Relief Support Worker, you will help our adults with a range of activities from the everyday living needs and ‘must dos’ (such as assisting with medications, supporting with attending health and medical appointments, moving and handling), through to the lighter side of life doing things like becoming involved with the local community, shopping, baking, gardening and socilaising with family and friends and much much more. We're always open to hearing if you may have a hobby or new idea to bring too How Relief works The Relief (Bank) post will support the permanent rota staff by completing shifts that are vacant due to annual leave/sickness/training/unforeseen vacancies. As such, hours are non specific but the service will endeavour to balance the needs of the service against your own work/life balance as appropriately as possible. Rotas will be available 6 weeks in advance.
