Overview
Application Engineer - Machine Tool Up to £45,000 West Midlands Currently looking for a CNC Application Engineer based in the West Midlands. Candidates with experience of managing complex CNC machine tool projects would be well received. As an Application Engineer you will be required to complete the following tasks: Assist in pre-sale time studies, process recommendation, tool selection and work-holding concepts Generating engineering proposals and presentations Servicing customers with phone and onsite support Programming of customer parts Write technical processes/ manuals for turnkey solutions and manage tasks to a specific timeline Manage complex CNC machine tool projects The Application Engineer should have the following skills and experience: Experience of working with Fanuc, Siemens and/ or Heidenhain controls Experience working as an Application Engineering Strong CNC Machining background Machine Tool programming using G Code, CAD/ CAM Experience working with Lathes and Machining Centres is essential We are keen to hear from Application Engineers that also have the following skills: High level of organisational skills Aptitude to customer care keeping customers informed at all times Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written Ability to address concerns and overcome objectives In return for your experience this company will offer you a salary of £45,000. This role will include travel to customer facilities located within the UK. We are keen to hear from engineers living from within and around Redditch, Birmingham, Alcester, Royal Leamington Spa, Banbury, Coventry, Solihull and Kidderminster.
