Overview
Having control over projects from initial stage to completion is something that this company believes is essential for their engineers to produce efficient designs. A privately owned Building Service consultancy that has been established for over 20 years is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. Working for this company you will be given the opportunity to work on a wide range of electrical projects located throughout the UK on a variety of sectors including Commercial, Health, Educational, Retail, Leisure and Industrial sector. Duties and Responsibilities as an Electrical Design Engineer; • Producing Electrical sketches, schematics and designs for projects. • To produce design schemes and sketches • Carrying out occasional site visits to oversee Electrical Installations. • Site surveys • Project reports • Providing design support on projects in the sectors of Healthcare, Education, Retail, Commercial and industrial. Requirements for an Electrical Design Engineer; • You will previously have worked in a Building Services Consultancy or contractor as an Electrical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer • Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. • Hands on knowledge of AutoCAD/Dialux/Relux/Amtech. • Good experience of electrical detail design and performance design.
