The role is based within the clients Financial Crime team who focus on the specific financial crime threats the organisation faces. Responsibilities of the Scala Developer Work with teams throughout the world namely, India, Poland and China. To support improvements to the systems and data infrastructure supporting deployment of the traded risk models. The successful candidate is responsible for managing and mitigating operational risks in their day to day operations. Role holder will have delivery responsibility of analytics for, risk & coverage, AML scenarios, contextual models, event triage and network analysis. Background of the Scala Developer Quantitative related degree e.g. Maths, Physics etc. or equivalent work experience PHD from a quantitative subject will also be considered. 1 years’ experience in Scala. Experience in open source and big data technologies such as Hadoop (Hive, Pig, Ambari, etc.) is desired but not essential. Experience in Google analytics, AWS (desirable). Is this job for you?
