Trainee Restoration Technician

Titan Recruitment are looking for a Trainee Fire Technician to work with our client on a permanent basis your main duties will be working on various properties / sites affected by fire or water damage, and assisting the on-site technician with the restoration work which can involve doing removals, stripping out, cleaning, helping to set up equipment etc. We are looking for an individual that is motivated, hard working and has great communication skills with an underlying desire to help people who are going through intense and stressful events. Other duties will include Carrying out in depth surveys of properties following water or fire damage Undertake immediate procedures to reduce further damage to buildings and contents Implement Drying programmes and carry out regular monitoring visits De-contaminating of Buildings and contents items following Fire and smoke damage. Essential skills The ability to problem solve and deal quickly with changing circumstances Be honest, reliable and hard working with a flexible “can do” attitude towards your work. Work in an empathetic manner with customers in varying circumstances The ability to work independently Be Physically fit Hold a full driving licence Once the right candidate has carried out their probational period they will be inducted into a structured training schedule. Once this is completed and all exams passed you will be certified as an industry recognised Flood and Fire Technician.
