Do you have previous office experience? Are you based close to Hillsborough in Sheffield? Are you looking for a new role? Then read on……. Multitask Personnel are proud to be working with a new construction client who operate throughout the UK, they specialise in Curtain Walling, Structural Glazing & Building Envelopes. We are working closely with them to recruit an experienced document controller. The main purpose of the role is to upload proposals, drawings, calculations etc on behalf of the company to contractor specific systems (Conject, 4P) to download and distribute drawings. Your main duties will include but not limited to: Upload drawings to specific intranet sites Manage drawing registers, calculation registers, technical submittal registers, sample registers Distribute drawings to other colleagues Co-ordinate O&M packs Co-ordinate site drawing packs Input data for design progress reports Change drawing status on drawings The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, BIM (desirable) AutoCAD basic understanding, able to change drawing status (Desirable) & Revit (Desirable). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential). Ability to work effectively both alone and contributing to a team environment. Qualifications - GCSE, A levels Experience - At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (essential) Significant experience working in construction industry (essential) Hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, this role is on a temp to perm basis. Salary is £18-22k depending on experience.
