Band 3 Medical Administrator - Southend, Essex

We are currently looking for a Band 3 Medical Administrator to work within a NHS office based in Southend Essex. The vacancy is to start ASAP and initially for 3 Months but may be extended. Please ask the team for more details. We require a Band 3 Administrator for Specialist Perinatal Team based at Rochford Hospital. We are looking for someone with good Secretarial and organisational skills, preferably knowledge of System One. Duties include:- Aside from supporting with managing our service, a big focus will be on supporting our expansion: Some key tasks would also include: - Supporting with forms and set up for new staff (eg tracking and completing set up of network and clinical systems access) - processing invoices with finance, - raising purchase orders, - ordering IT equipment, - booking and ensuring payment of conferences for groups of staff - liaising with external training providers for dates and available courses and costs, - coordinating a schedule of training (booking numbers of staff, tracking the booking, payment, booking venue if needed, tracking who attended, any movement of places.) - booking a paying for accommodation for staff attending training where necessary - Creating spreadsheets to keep monitor or summarise small pieces of work - Support with changing our dictation system to using an App (organising Consultants to have their phones download the app) - Supporting planning and practicalities for supporting setting up new office location (?furtniture ordering, stationary order/set up) - Booking venues and supporting arrangements for us to deliver training events Role: Medical Administrator Grade: Band 3 Hours: 37.5 Part Time Responsibilities: See Job Description for full details Based: Southend Start Date: ASAP Pay: £12.00 per hour We provide the following Benefits: Training and Support Refer a friend Scheme - £150 Fast Track Registration Weekly pay - 2 payrolls a week 24 hour service First class service Pertemps Medical Professionals are one of the Leading Providers to the NHS and Private Sector we are on the National Framework for (LPP, CCS and HTE), and First Tier Supplier to BMI, Ramsay, Virgin Care.
