Overview

Brand new opportunity for an Account Manager to join a leading business in Barnsley. The role will focus on building long lasting customer relationships with global clients and turning incoming enquiries in to sales opportunities. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining their own customer base and ensuring sales conversions are achieved daily. No cold calling The role will involve responding to INBOUND or ONLINE quotation queries and nurturing these to the final point of sale. Salary and benefits: Monday to Friday office hours - no weekends £16,000 - £18,000 with regular salary reviews based on performance Quarterly bonus £££ - personal and team based Free onsite parking Account Manager role responsibilities: Liaise with a wide range of customers spanning several sectors including Public Sector, Aerospace, Media Broadcasting and Logistics Successfully convert incoming enquiries in to sales by tailoring your approach based on customer Competently utilise the bespoke company CRM system to log enquiries, follow up on quotations and maintain customer details Build a good understanding of the vast product range the company can offer, promoting these where possible based on client need Demonstrating excellent customer service, going above and beyond in your role and always maintaining contact with clients to advise on orders / delivery ETA’s Handle any complaints efficiently and effectively, escalating where necessary to senior management Achieve and exceed individual and team-based sales targets Account Manager skills and competencies: Proficient in all general IT systems, previous CRM experience desirable as you will be operating more than one system at a time Organisational skills: ensuring you are responding to queries in a timely manner and balancing the working day effectively, so all tasks are completed Able to multi-task a range of duties and maintain the speed of working in a fast-paced environment Good written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate well via a range of methods and negotiate with different customers Healthy competitiveness, with the ability to drive sales and achieve targets Adopt a professional yet personal approach, ensuring you always represent the business to a high standard Strong work ethic, working outside of the 9 - 5 mentality To apply for this Account Manager role in Barnsley, please send an up to date CV today for immediate consideration.
