Then this role is for you The successful Senior PHP Developer (PHP7, Laravel/Symfony, MySQL) will be seeking to join a collaborative development team in a ever-evolving mobile app development company in central Leicester. You will be confident with leading adn designing the development of their web projects, whilst also mentoring junior developers on various client projects to ensure delivery of a high standard. You will be a self-motivated individual who will be thriving to develop your own personal skills and be exposed to newer technology. You will be a strong communicator and a team player and contributing to the success of the delivery of powerful web systems, Web API's and mobiles for their clients will be important for you. Skills: PHP 7, MySQL, Code design Including OOP practices Full understanding of good development techniques (Clean Code, TDD, Refactoring techniques) and able to demonstrate. Solid experience in Laravel / Symfony. Expertise in software development lifecycles and releases. A clear understanding of the JSON data format. Ability to map out an idea to a full project spec. AWS Experience Responsibilities: Working collaboratively with Project Managers and other developers to define and plan upcoming work. Mentoring junior developers and attending client meetings as and when required. Deploying websites to dev and production environments. Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency. Contribute to project planning and estimates Monitor progress of work items and take appropriate action to stay on schedule. Writing high-quality, highly testable code & help maintain code quality with other team members. Maintain and develop in-house projects as needs are identified.
