JOB TITLE: Mobile Agent LOCATION: East Kent, South Dorset, North Cumbria REPORTS TO: The Directors COMPANY: Equilaw Ltd THE ROLE Reporting to the Directors, you will attend clients in their own homes to obtain and witness the execution of legal documentation relating to Equity Release. The successful candidate will qualify under IR35 as a self-employed contractor and will work exclusively within the ER industry with us on a self-employed basis ideally working two half days per week. This may be more depending on the territory you are willing to cover. The role would fit alongside other part-time employment or self-employment (providing this would not conflict with our business) and would suit a practising lawyer who is looking to develop a secondary work-stream, enter semi-retirement or a work returner looking for a less demanding role for example, to fit around family commitments. THE COMPANY Equilaw Ltd is an award-winning law firm which operates a national service within the equity release sector providing independent expert legal advice to those wishing to release equity from their home. www.equilaw.uk.com KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Attend clients’ homes to obtain and witness the execution of legal documentation relating to Equity Release Ensure the signed documentation is returned to our office in a timely manner ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive Willingness to travel Full, clean driving licence required Excellent Customer Service skills Attention to detail, with ability to follow checklists via an electronic app model DESIRABLE CRITERIA: Experience in Property Law Previous experience in conducting face to face client appointments PERSONAL APTITUDE & SKILLS A working knowledge of Property Conveyancing Excellent organisation and time management skills Pro-active, self-starter Diligent, methodical and analytical Effective communicator Ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer service Problem solving skills DISPOSITION Be positive and committed SALARY OTE circa £75k (FTE basis) HOURS Part-time (flexible hours fluctuating according to our work flows but usually two half days per week) Apply now with an updated CV.
