Overview

We are currently looking for customer service agents for a 24/7 contact centre for NHS 111 line in Peterborough to start immediately for a temporary ongoing campaign. Role: As a 111 call handler, you will take a variety of incoming calls from concerned about the recent COVID-19 outbreak. Providing them with an appropriate response to urgent healthcare needs within a timeframe. No clinical experience is required for this role as you will not be providing clinical advice to patients, patients will receive a call back from another NHS site. Hours and Pay: Part time and Full time hours are available. You will be working Monday to Friday, and can work both day shifts (between 8am-8pm) and night shifts (between 8pm-8am). The day shift rate is paid at £9.30 per hour and night shift at £13 per hour. Skills: You need to be a good communicator with an excellent telephone manner. It is essential that you are computer literate and keen to learn new skills. You must be passionate about high quality patient care and be caring and able to remain calm under pressure.
