Overview
LAW Absolute are exclusively recruiting to an Adult Social Care Lawyer position with a local authority based in South London. This is a permanent role to start as soon as possible. Our client prides themselves on delivering a high quality service whilst embracing change and innovation. The local authority is looking to bring a capable and driven Adult Social Care Lawyer on board, who will pick up an existing caseload from the outset. The successful candidate will be required to carry a full caseload dealing with matters including, but not limited to; No recourse to public funds, Court of Protection applications, Mental capacity issues, Ordinary residence and, DOLS matters. The Adult Social Care Lawyer will be expected to show an ability to advise on adult community care law issues under the Care Act 2014 and associated regulations. Our client is ideally seeking candidates with local authority/ public sector experience. However, candidates from the private sector are encouraged to apply. This is not a training opportunity role and therefore previous experience in this area is essential. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
