IP Solicitor, 4 years PQE, Leeds, To c£65,000 DOE, Leading Regional Law firm JOB TITLE: Commercial IP Solicitor PQE REQUIRED: 4 PQE LOCATION: Leeds THE ROLE: The busy and progressive commercial team of this leading Yorkshire law firm is in need of an additional commercial IP Solicitor to handle a varied and complex caseload of matters. The role will involve advising on a varied caseload representing businesses, not for profit organisations and individuals on the whole range of non-contentious and contentious intellectual property and commercial matters. The role will primarily involve advising on a non-contentious intellectual property rights including patents, copyright, trademarks, registered designs, design rights and database rights. It will also include advising on commercial agreements and other related areas. The position is very varied, and you will need to demonstrate a commercial approach to your advice while also playing an important role in business development and networking initiatives. THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Commercial IP Solicitor will need to possess strong technical skills, excellent academics along with good organisational skills. Suitable Commercial Intellectual Property Solicitors will possess the willingness to go out and win new work via business development and networking skills as well as play a key role in the development of the commercial department.
