Teacher of Psychology/Biology (0.7)

Ackworth School is seeking to appoint a highly capable Teacher of Psychology with some additional periods of Biology. This is a permanent position from September 2020 following retirement. If candidates are able to teach additional subjects, please indicate this on the application and to what level. The role sits as part of the Biology department with a Head of Department and another full time Biology teacher. Both Biology and Psychology follow the AQA syllabus for GCSE and A Level. The candidate must: be a strong classroom practitioner who is capable of delivering the entire KS5 curriculum for Psychology and can teach up to KS4 for Biology. . be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of this busy boarding and day school. have energy, vision, enthusiasm and sensitivity.
