If you are an experienced and dynamic Care Manager with strong person-centred values and the ability to inspire and lead others, then look no further We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Manager to take the lead of our care services across two of our vibrant and modern Retirement Villages. Bournville Gardens and Hagley Road are both located a short distance from one other in Birmingham. The role includes: Leading and managing the day to day operation of the care services which includes direct supervision of Care Coordinators and Care Supervisors Leading and being accountable for the quality of care that residents receive through regular audits and compliance checks Working collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines within the village to provide the best outcomes for our residents Ensuring high standards and performance of the services adhering to; and exceeding CQC and local authority requirements Delivering efficient systems and working practices to enhance cost effectiveness whilst maintaining high standards of care Leading the recruitment and retention of care staff and Ensuring all care staff are trained and competent to deliver a high-quality service To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven track record of working in the care sector Experience in leading and managing care teams Strong communication skills Excellent customer relations An innovative approach to care delivery and willingness to embrace technology to enhance the resident’s independence Experience of developing person-centred care plans and a strong value base which reflects this practice Good understanding of the key lines of enquiry and regulations of CQC and experience of actively leading/participating in a CQC inspection Good understanding and experience of recognising, reporting and managing safeguarding concerns Resilience and problem-solving skills Experience of managing a care business specifically Income and Expenditure Experience of negotiating and working with a range of key stakeholders A QCF level 5 in Management and Leadership A minimum of NVQ 3 but preferable NVQ 5 in Health and Social Care Experience of being a Registered Manager or willingness to become the Registered Manager for the service Don’t miss out Click ‘apply’ now to make a difference to the lives of older people as our Registered Manager.
