Software Engineer C/C++ x2 - Near Stockport Software Engineer, Systems Software Engineer, C/C++, Linux, Unix, Real-Time, Embedded Software, RDBMS, Databases. As part of continued growth this innovation Enterprise Software organisation are looking for an experienced Software Engineer / Systems Software Engineer x2 with skills in C/C++ and ideally Linux, Unix, low-level software development in real-time environments. The Systems Software Engineer, C/C++ Software Engineer / Software Developer, will be developing complex, large scale, and varied Engineering Solutions for the Automation, Logistics and Distribution Industry. Every project is different with a great deal of variety, eg, writing software in C to automate warehouses and robotics. The technology is similar to the high end systems that the likes of Amazon use and other companies where there is Automation such as the Car Manufacturers, Component Suppliers and Supermarket chains. The "ideal" Systems Software Engineer / Software Developer candidates should have the following skills, experience, knowledge : - C/C++ System-Level Development experience - Linux, Unix or Embedded Systems experience - Experience of real-time environments - Database skills, RDBMS - Software Design and Software Integration skills - Low-level Software Development knowledge, Networking, Communication Protocols - Use of modern Software Development Tools.
