Overview
Looking to move away from Paraplanning and use your skills and experience in a different, more varied role? BWD have partnered with a very large European IFA business who are looking to establish a UK presence and are seeking an experienced, technically strong financial planning professional to help with this venture. This is a truly unique, and extremely varied, project-based role in which you will act as the technical expert to the UK project team and wider business, assist with due diligence of potential acquisitions, establishment of advice processes, technology and solutions, and help build out the UK business, becoming a substantial contributor to the success of the group over time. Once the UK business is established the future progression routes will be plentiful and optional, whether that’s to stay in a technical management/project based role or move into an advisory position. The role would suit a senior level Paraplanner (with career ambitions above and beyond the classic scope of a Paraplanner), a Technical Manager, or perhaps an adviser looking to utilise their skills and experience in a different guise. Excellent communication/presentation skills and proficiency in IT, systems and financial planning tools are required. You will also be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with an adaptable and dynamic mindset.
