Job Title: Home Manager (Older People) Location: Sir Aubrey Ward House, Marlow, Buckinghamshire Salary: circa £60,000 per annum It’s not all tea and cake in our care homes. Bettina likes to get dressed up, put on her make up and jive. Doreen used to run a night club in High Wycombe. John always gets involved with sorting out the laundry. Margaret’s daughter comes in once a week and does her mother’s hair in the hairdressing salon. Some get up early, and some stay awake the whole night through. Some like breakfast at 7am, others at 10am. Some love to visit all of their neighbours (it can take some time to visit all 60 of them all), while others like to spend some alone time in their rooms.
