Due to continued growth and client demands, we're currently recruiting a Production Team Leader to join our team located in Avonmouth. Contract Type: Permanent / 45 hours Hours: Twilight Shift Team Leader required for an expanding busy production team.The successful applicant will be an experienced Team Leader/ Shift Manager from a food manufacturing background (distinct advantage). Duties Include: Working alongside the Shift Manager and General Manager you will also be required to ensure products that are produced are made to the right quality and on time with the production plan Ensure all daily targets are reached Promote the importance and benefits of effective teamworking Demonstrate a positive leadership style with an enthusiastic, positive, committed and flexible attitude Ensure that your team are operating within high quality, safety and legality standards To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures To assist in the training and development of new starters and provide on-going training in line with FSA, HSE and company standards for existing employees Ad hoc duties as instructed by your manager The successful candidate will have: Experience in a team leading or managerial role within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage Good people management skills To have the ability to motivate a team To be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative To have a good level of both written and verbal English Ideally have Level 2 Food Hygiene/Safety certification Salary: Negotiable
