Position: Quality Control Manager / QA Inspections Manager Location: Gloucestershire – ideal for someone residing in the areas of Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Swindon, Cirencester, Gloucester, Stroud, Chippenham, Cheltenham, M4 or for someone looking to relocate. Ideal applicant: Our client is looking for a QA Manager / Quality Control Manager with experience of leading teams within a highly regulated environment (medical devices, pharmaceutical, aerospace, O&G, automotive). The ideal applicant will have the following experience; - Degree level educated within an engineering or related field or relevant work experience - Strong team leadership skills – experience of motivating, leading and developing staff - Strong background within quality management - Ideally experience within medical device directives – ISO 13485 - Experience of implementing quality control methods and procedures - Experience of supplier quality programs and managing supplier relationships - Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills - Project management skills Job role: Our client is looking for a Quality Control Manager to manage and lead inspection teams (inbound and finished goods). Within this role the key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring all material, in process products, process quality control and final inspection requirements are met – goods inwards, manufacturing and inspection departments - Provision of quality control support to manufacturing - Monitor compliance ensuring quality standards – ISO 13485 - Identify training needs of personnel in accordance of GMP - Lead management review of quality control performance - Monitor and manage quality control team vs KPIs - Monitor, manage and report on cost and work with management on the improvement of quality assurance costs - Be key stakeholder of company’s quality control strategies and key improvement programs - Collaborate to resolve customer and production quality issues - Adhere to QMS – ISO 13485 - Create and implement SOPs and test methods - CAPA management Indo Professionals is a specialist staffing business dedicated to the medical technology market.
