Production Planner Welshpool Permanent Circa £25000 - £32000 per annum (d.o.e) Monday – Friday Do you want to work for a successful and prestigious organisation who is a leading name within their market? A well-established manufacturing company are now looking for a Production Planner to join their existing team. The planner will have strong organisational skills coupled with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: Preparing the Production plans for the manufacturing site Ensuring that stock is sufficient to meet planning needs Updating daily manufacturing requirements Updating daily stock sheets Creating new products within the MRP system and removing old lines Preparing KPI's Ensuring that any back-orders are dealt with accordingly Developing the existing planning system in order to improve efficiency where possible Working within a team to support and develop effectiveness across production and manufacturing reports Skills and Experience You must have a background within a complex and ideally scheduling role within a fast-paced manufacturing sector. You will also have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to react to ever-changing situations. You will also be a confident communicator and be able to liaise between several departments such as manufacturing, engineering, sales and Quality .
