Overview

Business Division: Support Office Based in Wolston, Warwickshire Reports to: Head of Buying Key Activities / Accountabilities · Support sample management with Head of Buying as appropriate in line with the team strategy. · To create category SKUs and maintain data accuracy · To ensure all purchase orders are raised in a timely manner · Maintaining footwear range plan picture boards · Contacting stores for feedback on product · Liaise with suppliers to chase samples and key information · Create the product manual and review with Head of Buying in time for new season product arriving in store · Photograph new season product · Edit photographs on Adobe Photoshop · Preparing information for the team to take to trade shows as instructed · Conduct competitor shop reports with support from the Buyer initially and feedback to the team. · Check that product has been delivered to stores/support office and communicate with the relevant teams at support office. · Resolve store queries relating to product · Help with organizing training to stores · To adhere to buying schedule/plan within the ‘critical path’ · To ensure that promotional and pricing administration is completed efficiently and effectively on behalf of the trading team. · Filing and maintenance of all required records in line with company procedures and legal guidelines maintaining confidentiality · Maximises learning opportunities to broaden knowledge of the Buying team’s responsibilities in order to support with queries from the wider team. Other Working Conditions Required to travel to other sites within UK, attending trade shows and meetings with suppliers as and when required within business needs. Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications and Certificates A Levels GCSEs Knowledge, Skills and Experience A keen interest in fashion/retail Great knowledge of trends Excellent verbal and written communication skills Time management skills Great attention to detail Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, email and the Internet Key Competencies Team Player Confident with a bubbly personality Flexible approach to meet the needs of the business Has a ‘can do’ attitude and is proactive through self-motivation and commitment Scope to develop into the role.
