Site Services Assistant / Driver National Star, Ullenwood GL539QU Full Time 37 hrs weekly, all year 52 weeks per year FTE £16500 - £18500 At National Star we do fantastically rewarding work, driven by our vision for a world in which people with disabilities are able to realise their potential as equal and active citizens in control of their lives. Working as part of the site services team you will provide a reliable response and effective maintenance service to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our learners, residents and staff. As a maintenance assistant you will be able to complete basic repairs and assist on small projects. Whilst providing a professional and customer focused approach to every aspect of your work. You will have experience in a range of building trades and a good knowledge and understanding in Health and Safety. With this combined role we will also be looking to recruit a dynamic individual to work in our Site Services Transport team as a Minibus Driver on a split shift basis driving the staff bus. Duties will include vehicle safety checks, basic vehicle maintenance and vehicle cleaning. You will be an experienced minibus driver with category D1 on your driving licence and a good knowledge of the local area, you will also be confident to work independently.
