JOB ROLE: Resourcing Advisor JOB TYPE: Temporary HOURS: Full-time, 37 hrs, Mon- Friday DAY RATE: £114.45 DURATION: 28th February 2021 ( may end earlier due to internal recruitment on a perm basis) LOCATION: Aberdeen Our client, a large Public Sector Organisation in Aberdeen, is looking to recruit a Resourcing Advisor on a temporary basis till 28th February 2021. This is a full-time post for 37 hours per week. The post holder will preferably be based in our Head Office in Aberdeen. This will suit a candidate who is available to commute to Aberdeen. Our client is undergoing a period of growth and re- organisation in order to deliver its strategic objectives post exit from the EU. This is a new post to establish an efficient and effective local resourcing service to managers and staff throughout the organisation. The Resourcing Manager will plan and co-ordinate recruitment exercises within the business and be the key point of contact with the Resourcing team. The work will include all type of recruitments whether for permanent, temporary (fixed term appointments) or interim staff. The role will also liaise and support the Recruitment Project Manager working on the Future Restructuring Programme. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: " Key contact for resourcing and recruitment matters in the business. Liaise with HR Shared Services (HRSS) and Resourcing teams to review and streamline existing resourcing processes to develop a local resourcing service to meet the needs of the business. " Work with managers to develop campaigns to meet their recruitment needs, raise awareness of recruitment campaigns and include Disability Confident status to reach a diverse group of candidates. Assist in the development of realistic timetables for end to end process including sift and interview panels and on boarding of new starts. " Ensure all internal processes are followed for the authorisation of new recruitments eg approval of HR02 forms. Manage the businesses Resourcing inbox and input all new vacancies onto Vacancies Online, ensure internal approval of posts via system. " Oversee resourcing exercises and administrative processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, employment legislation and best practice in recruitment across the business. " Liaising with stakeholders on suitable selection methods for assessment, exploring options and making recommendations on best approach. " Co-ordinate and participate in sifts, interviews and assessment centres, grade dependant, as required to ensure that managers are supported in the selection process, engaging with candidates to ensure that they are supported during the process. " Undertake Lead Panel Member training and participate in recruitment exercises in accordance with this role, grade dependant. " Work closely with Payroll, liaising on start dates for successful candidates. " Liaise with Trade Union colleagues, managers and staff on matters relating to Resourcing. " Identify and report on resourcing management information to measure progress and to provide up to date information for quarterly business HR reports and other management reports. " Develop and review the companies HR induction/on-boarding process and ensure that it is fit for purpose and meets the needs of the business. " Provide pro-active support to the work of the HR Team undertaking specific projects as commensurate with the grading of this post. In order to apply for this position you will have: " Experience of working in a Resourcing, Recruitment or HR environment to be able to provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on relevant issues. " Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challenge managers at all levels of the business towards effective recruitment and/or business solutions. " Well organised and highly motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, adapt quickly to changing circumstances and expectations, respecting confidentiality at all times. " A flexible team player, with experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment. " Good IT skills and the ability to analyse and present management information concisely and use this to identify and make recommendations and improvements. " The ability to work flexibly and respond quickly and pragmatically to changes in plans or circumstances. Desirable Criteria: " Working knowledge of Resourcing policies, procedures and processes. " Working knowledge of Civil Service Recruitment Commissioners Code " Experience and understanding of Job Evaluation " Working knowledge of Pay Grading System and Pay Bargaining units.
