Main purpose Provide specialist expertise to facilitate and execute the technical planning, technical design and development, of Collaboration components across a mix of technical platforms. Develop and maintain technical frameworks, technical roadmaps, policies and standards aligned to ICT Strategies and define and exploit new and existing technologies. Investigate, analyse and exploit new and emerging technologies Detailed technical design and implementation as part of the Project Delivery Application Development lifecycle and embedding good practice in both technical and non-technical settings Assist on the development of and input into the relevant Domain strategy and roadmap Create reports, technical documentation, detailed design to standards Provide oversight/mentoring of the work of the Applications Development team's Lead the development of design patterns & core processes, standards and documentation Skills and Experience Analysis, Design, delivery and support of Office 365 collaboration stack, enterprise Content management including areas such as Records & document management technologies i.e. SharePoint (online / on premise) applications Evaluation& deployment of relevant, new and emerging technologies Support& Interoperability of a complex enterprise environment Software development techniques - CI, continuous delivery Automation& Orchestration of IT Systems. Broad range of experience relating to Digital, web & service based architecture - SOA / MVP / MVC, Cloud models (such IaaS, SaaS and PaaS). Specification, design and delivery of enterprise scale high level solution designs. Use of application architecture & integration patterns and software development methodologies. Researching and identification of current and emerging IT best practice. Interpersonal skills - Extensive interpersonal, communication & leadership skills including Planning, presentation & organising skills, Customer & supplier negotiation, tender & purchase process.
