TECHNICAL MANAGER - Fire Doors £40-50k ( Car, company performance related bonus, holiday, pension) London - Stanstead / Edinburgh Permanent Immediate start Do you have a background in joinery or door manufacturing? Are you a Technical or Production manager with experience in the door industry looking for the next exciting step in your career? On offer is an exciting opportunity to join an international company who specialise in the manufacture, full testing and installation of high quality fire doors and fittings and supply into a number of industries including commercial, residential, industrial, aviation and education sectors. This fantastic company offers exceptional technical expertise and training support services required to manage, test, promote, specify and sell the full range of doors & products. As such there is a brand new opening for a technical and training manager to join the permanent team. The role will involve the proactive management and ongoing development of the existing product portfolio as well as assisting in the R&D, product launch and training of new product lines. The role: Direct and in-direct product training in line with the company strategy. This will involve facilitating and presenting training courses on door fabrication and the installation process. It will also involve assisting in the launch of new products and/or delivering key technical updates on topics such as new testing or regulatory requirements. Training will be carried out in both new and existing markets to influencers, customers and employees at all levels in the UK, Europe and ROW Working with both the Technical and Sales Directors in defining new Customer and market requirements for the enhancement of both existing and new products within a timely manner Support technical elements, development and design of new doors & products while Supporting product and service compliance with legislative, regulatory & legal requirements The person: A background in Joinery specifically within the manufacture of doors, experience in fire testing is desired Confident and articulate, happy presenting material and giving product training, reporting findings and talking to customers and clients across all sectors Interested in the product and keeping up-to-date with the market and legislation Happy and able to travel throughout the UK, Europe and internationally when required This role is for an immediate start so please send an up-to-date CV ASAP to Sarah Hibberd.
