Overview

Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting an HR and Compliance administrator due to recent expansion for a growing company in the construction services industry. A competitive salary of £25-28k is on offer as well as excellent benefits including, free parking, free lunch and a supportive working environment. The successful candidate will have some experience in human resource administration or working at human resource officer level (knowledge of construction industry is beneficial but not essential). Ideally you will have dealt with compliance including health and safety, construction specific documentation including checking all certificates are valid and current. You will be adaptable, organised, self-motivated with the ability to liaise at all levels of the organisation. Your duties as HR and compliance administrator (Construction) will include: Supporting company with formal induction of new starters Ensuring that all staff are aware and have signed the health and safety handbook Updating and keeping records of all staff information Arranging and coordinating staff appraisals and recording as appropriate Logging all holiday requests as well as sickness and absence and securing director approval Supporting directors with employment law compliance and recruitment practises and screening Reviewing ISO documentation and ensure staff training for Quality Assurance where appropriate ( Construction) For more information and discuss the role of HR and Compliance Administrator ( Construction ) please contact Mercury Talent without delay for a full job description and an immediate initial telephone interview.
