Job Title: Transport Planner /Senior Transport Planner Reporting To: Team Leader, Transportation Director Office Location: Almondsbury, South Gloucestershire Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 The Company You will be working for a nationwide consultancy who offer specialist services in planning, design and the environment. In recent years, they have developed a transport planning resource across the South West and established a strong team in Almondsbury. The team has been successful in developing a strong client base across the region, including the promotion of development sites, travel planning schemes, planning application submissions and site acquisition. Position Production of transport assessments & statements; Travel planning scheme management; Junction analysis & modelling; Swept path analyses; Preliminary CAD design; Delivering parking strategies & devising sustainable transport schemes; Management & delivery of projects; Leading a team of transport planners. Requirements Strong background in transport planning; Capable of producing high-quality technical reports; Good knowledge of S106 & S278 agreement guidelines; Proficiency with TRICS database, Arcady, Picady & LinSig; Understanding of more complex modelling principles; Excellent report writing & presentation skills; Experience managing teams; A track record of work winning would be beneficial; Degree level education (MSc preferred).
