Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Logistics Coordinator to join a prestigious company, based in a prime location in Dartford. These amazing offices will give you that much needed work-life balance. This is a key role within the Reverse Logistics team that has responsibility for the driver de-briefing process and output which includes the correct invoicing of customer upon successful delivery, ensuring that all information provided by the driver is documented and the information shared on a daily basis with a number of stakeholders including the Transport department, Customer Service and Operational Management. Your responsibilities will include: To help drive improvements to the Reverse Logistics function ensuring that the process of returns delivers on the overall business objective of 'easier to do business with' To combine multiple tasks in daily planning to ensure all activities are being managed to meet the agreed company KPI's. This would include but not limited to, driver de-brief, invoicing via the POD process, booking product onto the system, issuing credits for returns and failed delivery Takes responsibility for customer complaints that occur within the reverse logistics process and provides a satisfactory resolution within 8 hours of escalation Building positive relationships with internal stakeholders (Transport, Stock Control, Customer Service and Warehouse team) to help improve the overall returns process Demonstrating expertise and commitment within the role and acting as a subject matter expert when required. To achieve quality standards and accuracy rate target within the returns team. To analyse and review relevant returns data/MI to identify trends with customers, performance of 3rd party logistic providers, quality of packaging etc. Your proven experience will include the following: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to multi-task, manage a conflicting workload and work under pressure whilst still providing a high level of accuracy and competency Proven ability to be confident in communicating and networking at all levels Customer focused Ability to focus on solutions rather than problems Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team Quick to adapt and learn new skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach and demonstrates a 'can do' attitude Expresses passion and enthusiasm within the role Microsoft skills are an absolute must, previous experience of Sage is preferred Knowledge of the end to end reverse logistics process whilst not essential would be a considerable plus point. The targeted start date for this role will be based on government guidelines surrounding Covid-19.
